NEC Superscript 600, 610, 660 - driver

I have upgraded to Windows 2000 Professional and now find tht I am unable to use my NEC Superscript printer as NEC have refused to write drivers for it. A thorough search of the web has unearthed nothing new other than conflicting reports about who's fault it really is - Microsoft or NEC. The fact is that I have a perfectly decent laser printer which now serves little use. Before I throw it out and swear to never ever buy anything with the label NEC on it - does nayone have any ideas? I tried emulating HP etc but that didn't work.

Please help!!!
