NEAX IVS2 Backup thru net connection 1

Can a PIM be safely backed up with a network connection, rather than direct serial connection, using MATWorX32 version 11?

Safely? That leaves much to be desired. I feel that I can only trust a Com port 0 backup only. I have used others including TCP/IP with some luck.
