Setting up IPO 500 v2 8.0.44 with remote IP 9608.
No VPN using remote H323.
I can set my Lan2 up with public address and make phone work no problem.

Now trying with NeatGear Fvs336g with port forwarding something seems to be blocking it.
I have the following ports added.
1719 UDP and TCP
1720 UDP and TCP
5005 UDP
49152 thru 53246 UDP and TCP
Am I miising something or does anyone have experience with this firewall good or bad.

You will need to run STUN on the system too, also some user side routers just don't play nice :)

Not sure I'm following you.

Connecting to Lan 2 without firewall giving Lan2 the public address I do not use stun server and it works great,

But

Using Lan1 with local IP address and portforwarding thru firewall to IP address of IPO I have to use a stun server.

Yes, you usually do, if you read the manager help file under "remote h323 phones" it explains all there. Sometimes you can manually enter the info the STUN server detects and it works though :)

Thanks I try it and let you know. Do you have a public stun server you like to use.

You can try 77.72.169.160, I have used that in the past and it works :)

I put together an FAQ for a list of
