When any of our users attempt to send email to one domain, they get the following NDR.

user@externaldomain.com on 4/14/2004 12:50 PM
There was a SMTP communication problem with the recipient's email server. Please contact your system administrator.
<myserver.mydomain.com #5.5.0 smtp;571 from x.x.x.x We do not relay>

The ip address is the external address for my mail and this only happens with one particular domain. Is this a problem on my end or do I need to try to contact the other company to check things out?

Don't know if this will help but some mail servers (hotmail.com) will not accept mail unless you have a reverse dns entry. Try calling your ISP and asking then to add a entry to the records.
