I am trying to configure NDMP with NetBackup 4.5 on a Solaris 8 Master server, a NetApp R200, and a STK L700 with 20 LTO Gen1 drives. The allocated (2 out of 20) drives have been zoned through the McData fabric to the R200, but are not seen when executing a 'sysconfig -t' on the filer. Any ideas would be GREATLY appreciated.

Thanks,
Bob

What kind of HBA board did you use.
If JNI you have to check in /kernel/drv if jniXXX.conf have persistent binding with appropriate WWPN WWNN and if st.conf ready.
You can use also the command bptpcinfo -a -o - and check the file after.
on R200 when you execute sysconfig -t you can see from which port on the switch the drive is connect.
Also simple way is to create a new robot with only the the drive for ndmp.
When you do bpps -a did you see a ndmp process runing.
If not did you check on veritas support web the pdf document about NB and ndmp.
It's just some info to help you, first time is not very easy to install .
Regards
