Can anyone tell me where to get some information on how to segment the voice traffic on the local network?

Notably, how does the NBX phone system work?

I need to know what subnet the voice traffic is supposed to be on.

What determines what subnet the voice traffic is on?

Is the the IP address of the phone system itself?
