I cannot get internal paging to work to the phonesets. A user dials the paging extension (611) with no speakerphone output. Any suggestions an where to look for the problem / solution ???

Soundz like you have the wrong numbers:
620, 621, 622 are what's in the default dial plan

Yep, if it isn't the wrong number, it is multi-casting. I have to buy new switches to allow paging.
The 3Com 4400 switch or equivalent does not support paging by default you have to disable IGMP Multicast filtering. The web config is the easiest way. I realize I'm assuming you have 3 Com switches but I know alot of people that buy phones an d switches as a bundled pair and have a hard time finding out this tiny bit of info.
In particular, you need to disable IGMP Snoop mode (unless you have a multicast router enabled and need to route NBX multicast to either remote IP phones, or another NBX via VTL's)
