I help a friend out with a domain controller and hub in his department that is connected to a router managed by their IT staff.
It has been our understanding that this DC is "isolated" in that only users in his department have access to this machine and the other computers connected to their own "local" hub.
When we run nbtstat -r on this DC, we see a couple of machines that are not connected to the "local" hub... and we're not sure if this is a security breach or not.
I ran nbtstat -r on our OWN server in house, and it DOESN'T show some machines that ARE connected to our "local" hub.
Exactly what does/should nbtstat -r indicate?
