Hi,
I was wondering if at all is it possible to create a kind of navigation on a form. I mean for example say I have 6 level one items and 12 level 2 items. I want to put the 6 items on the form with a +/- button next to it. Si if + is selected, the main item will expand and the level 2 items will be shown. If - is selected it will contract, like in the Windows Explorer. Is it possible? Thank you for any help.

Two options:

1) Use the treeview control. It's a pain in the neck, but if you play with it long enough you'll get it to work. Google treeview control for docs, or run a search at MSDN for treeview. Treeview seems to have a bunch of versioning bugs, so if you are going to distribute over a network get ready for DLL hell.

2) Export the data as XML, and display it in Internet Explorer. It displays by default as +/- nodes. This can either be real simple or really, really complex depending on your data and program needs. It is however, the cool way to do it.

Thanks. I have a question though. What I want to do is list several items on a form and provide a checkbox next to each of them. The user of the application will put checkmarks on some of the items and leave some as is. The data will be stored in the table. Next time when the user opens this form, he will see what all he has checked and what all he has not checked. I would appreciate any help on implementing this functionality.

Thank You
