I recently noticed a mailbox in my Recipients container for a "NAV for Microsoft Exchange". The mailbox is associated with my Exchange Administrator account.

I do not recall ever creating this account (I do not use the Recipients container at all) nor am I running any services off it. I have the following two questions:

What is this account and (more importantly) can I delete it?

Thnaks in advance for any help.

Sounds like you run NAV for Exchange, probably 2.1 or 2.5. This is the account used by the virus scanner for Exchange that is used as a service account. Its used to send you emails about which viruses have arrived, from whom and to whom.

If you don't use this, it could be a clever hacker.
