Hi there,
We have individual users and groups subscribed to various services in NarrowCast. Many of these folks are both individual users and members of groups. Does anyone know how MicroStrategy counts NarrowCast licenses in this situation? Does "group@company.com" (which distributes to several dozen addreses, but is only one "user" in the SBR) count as one or multiple users? It would seem that you could reduce your licensing cost by using group addresses. Not sure if that's okay to do, since using groups would be the equivalent of sending to one person and then having that person forward the message.
Just wanted to see if other folks have encountered this issue, before we ante up a bunch of money to our account exec.
Thanks,
