If I have a stacked bar chart feeding off a ado dataset, how can I name the series, so that they have meaningful names in the legend. (At the moment I've got names like "sum of ado.operator" where 'operator' is my field name).

TIA

You will have to create a formula field with the name you want and as the expression, simply insert the ADO set.

I know it is cumbersome, but.... Howard Hammerman,

I'm not sure I understand your solution. Could you please explain in a little more detail or perhaps an examples.

Thanks

Simply create a formula field with with whatever name you want. Then in the expression, just click on the previously create summary field (sum in your case). Howard Hammerman,

Ok, I've now tried that and its looking better than before, as it now shows the formula name in the legend. But, because its a formula, I get the '@' symbol prefixed to the name. Can I remove that somehow?
