Does anyone know what to do to kill this message?
It keeps popping up in the windows log file every hour or so...

hi Lynsen,

the message is clear i think. You must open the configuration manager and check all the namespaces and/or run de configuration wizard under menuitem 'actions'. Restart all the services and it should work !

good luck

HI Christenhusz,

I tried that, but it didnt work... I also have a case at Cognos Support, but I'm not getting much response from them at the time (maybe it quite busy, with everyone upgrading to series 7 version 2, and then finding out not everything works the way it used to :))

Okay... well.. *sigh* I'll just keep on cleaning the windows log every now and then... Thanks anyway! :)

Well, with lots of e-mails being sent back and forth between cognos and me, we now have a 'solution'.

In Configuration Manager there's an option to put messages in the windows log file. We disabled this, and voila! the message no longer appears! We know this is a workaround the problem, but we don't see any trouble for solving it like this, because everything worked okay.

You can find the option here:
Config.Manager
- Cognos Impromptu Web Reports
- Common
- Logging
- IWR Log

I think you have to remove and reconfigure your IWR datastore to get ride of the message.
Access manager info is stored in the Datastore
