Hi,

Don't know if ayone has seen this before, but since our upgrade to exchange 2003 and outlook 2003 peoples names appear twice when you start to type an address.

If you send to an internal person, the address of joe bloggs <jblogs> is added, however when you reply to an email the name joe bloggs <joe.bloggs@mydomain.co.uk> is added.

Anyone seen this before, found a solution or just found it annoying as our Managing Partner does?

Cheers

Chris

OK Problem Resolved.

The issue was to do with MIMESweeper and Exchange.

Basically as mimesweeper took the email out of the smtp stack and re introduced it, it looked to exchange like the email did not origionate from Exchange.

In Exchange 2003 there is a tick box on the smtp virtual server to resolve anonymous email under the authentication section.

Select this and hey presto.

see article..

Cheers

Chris
