Have a NAM that stopped working. F9xx doesn't work. Tried reboot but doesn't go thru proper startup sequence. Digital display shows 7C I believe (not sure what it means). Is it safe to say it's done for? I know Nortel MD'd & no longer supports this product and replaced it w/ CP 150.

try reseating all boards and blowin out the dust bunnys while in there

Reseat what cards? There are no cards on the NAM vmail to reseat.

yes there are ..open front of blue box and reseat iether fiber or copper card and any other card in there..resat ribbon cable to hard drive...make sure if there are jumpers that they are still seated....unless you are talking about a flash...bust a flash has no display...

Thx

Any idea what error code 7C means?

7a and 7f point to hard drive...what was the tone sequence on boot

Didn't hear the series of tones you normally hear on startup.

Do either of you know where I can get a list of what each error code means? Tried Nortel site w/ no luck. Just want to be prepared in the future.
