NAM does not record/deliver messages from "#" directory

Happy Monday Everyone,

Following up on thread 799-1027166, maybe new & better description might be useful.

When callers use the "#" dial-by-name directory, the NAM seems to function correctly but no message ever gets to the Mbox. It appears the messages are either not delivered and lost or maybe never recorded at all. Calls transferred from reception and DIDs work fine via FNA from the set. I've tested F70, F986, dialing the extension from the Auto Attendant and DID. All work fine. Just that darn "#" dial-by-name directory isn't behaving.

Any ideas? Thanks.

dialing the DN works - dialing by names doesnt thats intersting ...try rebooting
check the directory for duplicate names - maybe the dialby name ends in another mailbox which has the same/similar name
