Can you have a day and night CCR or just one for both?

You can only have 1 CCR tree enabled for a particular line. You can, however have different greetings for the CCR base on time of day. I think you can have up to 5 (Morning, Lunch, Afternoon, Evening, Non-Business Hours) based on time of day.

 
They way it works is that the Greeting plays then the 0 home menu prompt plays. The greetins can be configured for time of day: Morning, Afternoon, Evening and Non-business. The 0 home menu prompt will be the same no matter what time of day.

They was I've done it before is to record silence on the 0 home menu prompt of the CCR tree and set it up so that I used paths 1, 2, 3, 4 for daytime and recorded the instructions in the greeting used for that time of day. Then I programmed the paths 5, 6, 7, 8 for use at night and recorded the instructions for that in the greeting used for that time of night.

This way, the first 4 paths are still available during the night but you just don't tell them it's there. The last 4 paths are there during the day but you just don't tell the callers that the options are there. MRoberts
