NAL application to run if not member of NDS group

Hi, I have a requirement to launch a NAL application based on a user
account's 'non-membership' of a NDS Group.

In other words, if a NDS account is 'not' a member of a specific NDS Group
then run this NAL packet on login.

Has anyone done anything like this before?

Any help would be appreciated.

Odd requirment, but I have seen stranger.

Try this; find an application that only this group uses or create an application object that only this group will use. Doesn't really matter what the app is. If you have to create a dummy app it can be as simple as just a text file you drop on their local drive that states "part of the VIP group". All your looking for is the NAL registry entry that says this app has been deployed to this user.

Order your app deployment so that the app that should go to non group members is last (this will make it last to execure giving the the group assigned application to run).

Then under Avilability - System Requirments in the properties page of the application object, choose Add - Applications and this will give you an application dependancies option for the object. Make sure you switch the first option to false so it will hide the app if the criteria is not met. Then choose the dummy app object or the app object that is only associated to the VIP group, and choose Application is NOT installed.

This will make it so the app will only be distributed to users who do NOT have the application installed. Users who are not in the VIP group will not get the VIP application, so when the Nobody app object executes, it will only install to the nobodies on the network.
