Nachi virus stopped hotmail working

The Nachi Worm has an interesting payload!! It copies new versions of a number of the Windows critical DLL's and .EXE's. I suspect that this is the case here. You will need to reload the messenger service from the operating system CD. I would also suggest that you check for any other strangely dated files on your system.
