My website uses shared left, right, and top borders. On the index page, the top border displays flush with the top of the screen, but the left border has a small gap (3-5 px) to its left. When I navagate to other pages in my web, the top border displays with a small gap above it, or the left border moves over and eliminates the small gap.

My understanding of HTML is limited, but I've been unable to spot anything in these various pages that causes the different behavior for the display of the borders. I'd like to eliminate the indenting, but where do I look?

Look at to start. Note the top margin starts flush with the top of the display area, but the left margin has a small gap (indentation) from the left (which I'd like to eliminate).

Click on the Bookstore link on the left. This page has the same left margin gap, but also has a small gap above the top margin.

I really don't want either gap, on any pages! TIA for any suggestions of why this is happening.

rightclick your page, select properties
goto the margin tab, click the set top and right boxes
and set top and left margins to 0.

Hmmm. If I rightclick the page when it is displayed in "Page" mode, I don't have a "properties" choice, but do have "Page Properties." There is no "Margin" tab on that properties dialog.

If I rightclick the page in "Folder" mode, I do have "Properties" as a choice. However, I still don't have a "Margin" tab there.

I must not be looking in the right place. Can you elaborate further? Does it make a difference that I'm running FrontPage 2002?

yes its the page properties.
i only have fp2000 and 2003 but it should be the same in
2002.

if you want to do it manually just add

topmargin="0" leftmargin="0"
to <body> ie <body topmargin="0" leftmargin="0">

Thanks -- I knew it had to be something really simple!
