Actually we have a Windows 2003 Cluster Server Service Pack 1 with IIS 6.0

We have the following problem: When i access my web pages and working with this pages correctly. But if remain inactive the webpage about 10 minutes and try to perform other action, the page request for validation. If i cancel the logon and press F5 we can get the page available.

This behavior don´t ocurr with the windows 2000 stations.

The time Out is setting in 15000 seconds and Keep-alive enable.

Do you have any suggest?

I would say cookies, or values in the URL. The sessions that run forever suck a lot of memory and you never know how long they are going to be gone, so there is never a safe length to put then at.

For example, we open the page the page display the options and we are working in the aplication and get the requested information. We have open the web page and not perform some other action for 10 minutes. When i perform one action over the page, he ask for credentials again. If we give the credentials working fine. or if cancel the request and press F5 for reload the page working fine too.

Whant happening with this. The behavior only ocurr with machines with windows XP.
