Howdy,

I'm operating an older version of Quark (v3.3.2 I believe) in the classic environment on my Mac (OS 10.1.4 with OS 9.2 in Classic).

Anyway, I've created a poster with some text & some images, but when I print, the images print as empty boxes. I have printed this same document previously, and the pictures printed fine, I don't know what I've done to change that.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Here's two suggestions.

First, go to Utilities > Picture Usages. The first column before the filename is simply a bunch of check marks that indictate whether or not a picture should print. If any are missing, reselect them.

Second, and probably more likely, has to do with your print settings. I don't know exactly where it is in Quark 3, but try both the page setup and print dialog boxes. What you're looking for is something like Pictures Output, and/or OPI. The output setting should be set to 'Normal' rather than 'Low Resolution' or 'Rough', and the OPI setting should be set to 'Include Images'.

I'm using Quark 4/5, and I know that these dialog boxes have changed somewhat since 3. Hopefully it will point you in the right direction though!
