I have a customer who would like to implement My Documents Redirection. This simple however I have to take into consideration that 2 of our end users are mobile users.

So in the event that they're in the field, how do I provide them with access to "My Documents", while meeting our primary goal, of backing up the data located in all users' "My Documents" folder, short of a VPN or Internet access?

Is this where Offline Synchronization fits in?

It's an SBS 2003 OS with Win XP SP2 Clients.
Thanks in advance.

My Documents redirection will help with backups. Currently the two mobil users are have their My Documents on the laptops and are not getting backup with the server files. When My documents redirection is enabled all the documents are placed on the server. When the client is conneced to the server. Offline synchronizaiton is running making sure the files are the same on both the server and desktop/laptop. Now when the laptop users disconnect they can still open and use the files offline. Then when they return to the network Offline Synchronization will copy them to the server for backup.

Just remember Database files will not synchronize.

Thanks that was the answer I was looking for.
Quite informative.
