I'm using BE 9.1 with a 1/8 HP Autoloader. Everytime I need to switch tapes I use the export & Import command from the device menu. The problem is if I don't cancel these jobs manually the export can run for 25 minutes and I've seen the import go for up to an hour before I manually canceled it.
I'm new to this software suite (came from a Unicenter Background). But I have noticed that a few of my back up jobs failed because BE thinks there is no overwritable media. I assume because the import job got cancelled. Is this working as intended? Should I let these jobs run forever like this?
