My CD drives dont work

Hey all,

I have a problem with my CD drives, thats my CD/DVD (16x) and my CDRW drive (48x).

When i try and access them, I get a dialogue box saying:

"invalid function."

I haven't got a clue why it should say this, the only way I can get information off a CD is over the LAN...upstairs, so i really could do with a solution if anyone has one. Thanks.

By the way, I can play Audio Disks, it's just all the other types, Video & Data etc.

The phrase: "invalid function" would to me suggest a driver fault.
