Hi Guys,

I have a customer with a Mitel MXe controller, we upgraded the system last Thursday evening and this system failed to upgrade, we then had issues getting reconnected to the mitel controller.

The system is now back up and running after we removed the RAID card, it looks as though this was causing a problem when the system was trying to upgrade and reboot.

The problem we now have, we have a number of extensions missing - probably about 30-40 extensions, out of 435 programmed.

If we try to add a new extension we get the following error....
- There are no IP Device/User resource available.

My thinking is that the expanded module may be faulty too..... does anyone have any idea's?

Regards

Andy

Double check your licensing, it sounds like you don't have your IP user licenses allocated correctly and are short a few.

Also, don't forget to run the upgradebootrom all command when you get it sorted.

Sorry guys, I discovered it was the maximum configurable ip users and devices set to 700 within the configuration options at the bottom of the license page.

As soon as this was changed to 5600 and a restore was completed everything was back to normal.

You said you only had 435 IP devices programmed

Why did the system Puke when set to allow 700?
