MXe Chassis Issue

We have a few MXe Chassis that appear to have developed the same issue and wondered if anyone else has had the same problem and managed to resolve it. We changed the chassis's for the customers as a quick fix, now they are in our lab hoping to be sorted.

When ringing from any IP device to a TDM device the caller can hear ringing until the call is answered when both parties receive NU tone. This is also the same when ringing TDM to IP.

We have changed the processor card, upgraded bootrom, tried various levels of software, i'm now on MCD7.

The system is currently a "bare" chassis although we have tried adding 2nd processor and T1/E1 incase it was an E2t issue.

I suspect it is a fault on the main board and they will be consigned to the skip. For us to have this many it must be a fairly common issue if anyone can shed light on the subject I would be grateful.

Is this an older MXe and if so, is the echo canceller card still installed?

It is one of the "new type" chassis (silver front as opposed to Blue/Grey) There are no additional cards installed at present , just a base chassis as would have been supplied.

In that case did you install an expansion processor and if so, does it have an IP address when viewed via the System IP form - (E2T Card)

Yes, we have had an expansion processor in to test with IP address etc. No difference

The symptom is saying that the expansion processor is not working

Do you see an IP address assigned in the System IP form?

What does the form Hardware Compute Cards tell you?
