Hi -

If anyone can help it would be great -

I have 2 email servers on and two IP addresses and only one domain abc.com I would like to set the mx records to accept mail for the domain abc.com and send it to the mail server. If a email address does not exist on the one server eg. user@abc.com it will reject the email and send it to the second email server who has a lower priority.

I know the mx priority can be used for backup, but can it be used in this senerio?

Thanks

no... dns is only going to deal with the domain name part.... now, depending on your email server, i'd bet you can accomplish what you want.
