Does anyone know how I can make a picture gallery with forward and back buttons? I have one using text captions as links to a standard dreamweaver 'swap image' behavior. However the client would like forward and back buttons under the image which will change the image source to the next or previous image. Does anyone have a clue what I am talking about?
By the way, I have close to 100 images at 640x480 and I'm using Dreamweaver MX. I know absolutley NO Javascript or .asp so if the solution entails either of these you will have to be very explicit (not in the rude sense :p ). However I learn quickly. Thank you so much for taking the time to explain to a Forever-Newbie, "I don't forget it."

Trying using Adobe Photoshop there a gallery option which is automatic...it does all the links and thumbnails for you.

Sorry, I guess I wasn't specific enough. I don't want to use either thumbnails or captions to link to the image. All I want is a page with an image on it. underneath the image is a forward button and a backward button. These will change the image to either the next image in a certain folder, or the previous one.
For instance, if a folder has 'image01.jpg' 'image02.jpg' and 'image03.jpg', The scource of the image on the html page will be 'image01.jpg'. when I click the forward button the source will change to 'image02.jpg', another click changing the source to 'image03.jpg' and then back to 'image01.jpg' for another loop. the previous button will loop throught the pictures in exactly the opposite way, going 3-2-1.
Thank you very much for your help.
