I have a pretty vanilla MX-One 3.1 SP2 test server built and I have been trying to get some generic SIP handsets registered. I have the freeware 3CX Application which I have used with my Free Broadband SIP account and I also have a Windows Mobile 6 PDA Phone with the integrated SIP client. Both of these I have used sucessfully with my Broadband SIP account.
I have made the changes to the /etc/opt/eri_sn/ip_telephony.conf file to include the SIP User Agent ID of both SIP clients ('SIPPER for 3CX Phone' & 'RTC/1.5') and have been attempting to register them. The Windows Mobile 6 PDA is a bit tricky to reconfigure so I have been concentrating on the 3CX app. I got it working however I had to remove the DNS name of the MX-One and use the IP Address and also remove the realm name so it was sending 'sip:6001@192.168.100.100' as the registration. I assume the DNS name can be used, what additional steps need configuring on the MX-One?
