The light does not go out on the MLX 12 phone when there are no messages. Would it be a programming issue or the phone? Thanks for your anticipated help.

It could have the general mailbox assigned to it: either 9991, 9992, or 9993 you could try. If not, I assume its an mlx 10 as there is no mlx 12. If so, you can press menu, Msg, delete and it will take the light off. If it is an mls 12, you are in the wrong forum. That's a Partner phone.

My mistake, it is a mlx 10. Thanks for the info, i will give it a try.
