We have people that are making/receiving calls on Key 1 of ACD sets. They do not use the ACD incalls to receive calls and the sets stay logged out. The only reason they use the ACD sets is so the users can be silently monitored by their supervisor, but the supervisor can't see when they are on the phone to monitor. If we add a KEM to the supervisor's IP1230 set and program the key 1 extensions of the group on the KEM, Callpilot then will not set or clear the message waiting lamp. I am 99% sure it is because there is no key 0 (prime) appearance of the extension and poor Callpilot gets confused and refuses to cooperate. I thought I would poll the audience to get the last 1% or possibly a work around.
The system is CS1K Rls 6.0 with all the latest patches. Callpilot is RLS 5.0. Any ideas??
Thanks,

You can set it so the agent has to long in to make call, and you can also use XMWK and CLS LMPX for keys other than your prime.

You can add a unique dummy extension to each of agents. Then MWI to that dummy extension.

Finally got around to putting the dummy number on the sets. Thanks again, that worked for us as they wanted the red mw indication on the set.
