I've just started in Assembly for Mainframes(MVS). Could anyone please assist with a good book/internet site I can refer to?

A book from a college bookstore might be best. The IBM manuals can cause information overload in a hurry, but when you need the detail, they are the best.

You might try the "language reference" and "Programmer's Guide" that can be loaded (free) from:

I found the following book fantastic. It is quite old but a very good introduction for the novice.
A Simplified Approach to S/370 Assembly Language Programming by Barbara J. Burian
