musicmatch wont open on my account 1

hi im running windows xp service pack 2 my account is set up as admin but when i try to open musicmatch (tried different versions all same prob) it wont open but if i click on run as.... and use administrator it works fine any ideas please help

Are you getting any error message on the Desktop or in your Event Viewer?

Are your Access Permissions correct for the MusicMatch files?

thankyou linney for that great reply unfortunately i have done all of this with no success also i get no error messages but musicmatch works in safe mode under my logon and wont work in normal mode it just doesnt load up unless i right click and go to run as...

Just out of interest what happens if you use "RunAs" but type your actual Administrative user name in there?

You could try uninstalling and re-installing as your Administrative user to see if that fixes it.

See if you can use this application wrapper to get it going under your user profile. Have a look at Greg PALMER's free program, see if you can make use of that?

Don't forget that you often have to amend the permissions on the desktop and Start menu shortcuts to MusicMatch as well, by adding the 'Everyone' account and giving 'Full Control'.
