Can anyone please tell me what is missing or what else needs to be done?

You have to turn music on in the routes as well as the CDB

Thanks for the advise KCFLHRC, I am new to this stuff could you please help with the steps to do so?

First you need to print out your routes in LD 21. Then in LD 16 do a change on each route you want music on.

You put the music route on your normal trunk routes, not on the music route. So if you have route 0 you would assign music to that route.

The post above show rout 100 as the music route if i am understanding this correctly. what would you recommend that i do now?

Hi PBXbabby,
You need to change the RDB that you use for your in/outbound calls. If you are using a PRI and it was on route 1, you need to chg RDB 1 MUS = YES MRT=100.

~Nortech1

Your not understanding yet. You build the music route and trunk. Then you assign music route 100 to your other routes that you want music to be played. You will have a local route and maybe a long distance route, etc. This is why you need to print out all your routes so you can assign the music to all your routes. You can also do an LTM in LD 21 and that will show all your associated trunks to routes.

Sorry guys those are already set..

REQ:

Config looks good, can you dial 0192 and hear music? What kind of card is the music on? Trunk Card or Miran?

I am not at the customer site now, is there anyway to check the miran card and see whats on it?

I think you need to go to the site and verify the music is going into that TN and actually has audio.

ok i will do just that and i am assuming that the TN in question would be that of the MUSIC TRUNK..right?

Hi,
Stat card 12 0 0 0. There should be a MIRAN GUI access as well. There is usually a DID set up to login. You can check the music channel that way (Channel 0 or 1). If there is no DID set, You can add a quick ACD and NCFW to the ACOD 0192.
