I'm putting music on hold on our Opt 61 and I'm concerned about conference participants hearing the music when they place the call on hold to add additional participants. I understand from reading a post that I will have to change all AO6 keys to NHC. I have 500 phones. Is this the only way to do that?

Also I have the music in file format on a CD. Can this music be uploaded to my unused RAN box, or should I buy a CD player or MP3 player for the music source. Then do I directly connect a cable from the music source to the TN where the Music Route is programmed? Is there a better way to do this?

Music's not so bad while adding people to the conference, since the conference hasn't begun yet, but it can be a real nuisance if someone from the conference uses hold to answer their other line or to leave the conference call for a while to get coffee (or get rid of it). Rather than changing everyone at all sites to no hold conf, we just reminded people not to use hold.
