Morning folks

I have an 11 site network with g700 and g350s with an S8500 and G650 at the main site.

I connected an MOH source to one of the sites and for a while we had MOH at all sites. When it stopped working, I played with it and it started working again - for a short while. I have since tried using another source and a tone generator to no avail. I also moved the sources around to different ports.

Are there any words of wizdom out there or do I need to get Avaya involved?

Thanks!

I'm assuming you're using a standard analog port for the music source.

I doubt the port is an issue. chances are its the device causeing the problem. I typically use a generic MP3 player device on an analog port.

With 2-25 of them on our systems accross the country I had very few problems.

What kind of music source are you using?

Yes it is an MM711 port. I did use my tone generator which usually works and it did not. We are using a standard on hold machine that stores the recording in memory. It is playing back via the speaker at this time.
