MultiTape Eject vs Verification

Hello,
Arcserve v9, using two HP 4mm dat drives, os w2k. I've noticed that if I set it to eject tape after job completion; Arcserve will eject the tape and then post an error because it can't verify, as I've asked it to. Anyone run into this and know away to have both verification and tape ejection?
