I am adminstrating an MS Access Database which consists of an Access local front-end and networked back-end.
There is code to show who is 'logged' into the back-end by reading it's keyfile '.ldb'. When users exit from the back-end the keyfile doesn't always appear to clear their entry.
People can exit from the database but it still shows them as being logged in up to several hours later. With many users going in and out this is a pain.
Is this a network specific problem or is an adnomally of Access? Either way is there a cure or way of improving it.
Thanks, Leon.
