I have a file looking at multiple rows with an ID. What I'm trying to do is create a pie chart for each row. I just realized that you cannot add a pie chart to the details sections of the reports. How can I create a pie chart for each row of data?

If you WERE able to place a pie chart in the detail section, the pie would be all one value. If you are trying to show what share of the pie each row represents, place the pie chart in the report header or report footer, and use the row ID field as the "on change of" field, and the field you want to summarize in the "show value" area.

LB,

Thanks for the quick response. My question was not very clear. We are doing statements for multiple employees. I have employee ID's on each row with multiple columns of data. I would like to show the data in the columns on a pie chart for each employee. Currently, I have all the numbers I want to show for each employee in the details section. When I go from one page to the next I find the statement values for each employee, however, I wasn't able to add a pie chart for each employee. I just realized you can place a chart in a group header but again you cannot move the group header up and down to place it in between detail lines. Hope this makes sense.

Place the pie chart in the employee group section. Why do you want the pie chart in the middle of the details? I'm having trouble understanding why you'd want to do this. What kind of display are you trying to achieve?

LB,

I needed to put some info above and below the pie chart. You are RIGHT. Now that I can use the group or page header I should be fine. Thanks so much for your help.
