I am trying to figure out how to handle multiple outbound email address for a single user. Example: user@domain1.com and user@domain2.com.

Details:
Running exchange 2003 and have multiple domains setup in the recipients policy. A few users need to be able to send email showing the from address as either domain1.com or domain2.com depending on the business they are handling. How can this be accomplished? If I attempt to use the from address I get an error stating that the user does not have right to relay to that address.

Thank you in advance for any assistance!

Regards,

Rick

Try searching. Here, Google, everywhere. This has been discussed WAY too many times. Search before posting.

Thank you for the suggestion to search. I have searched all over the place and there are not any solid answers to this problem that I have been able to find. Most of the info out there is either very old or does not apply to exchange, but outlook w/ pop3 accounts. Appreciate your help.

Well, I can count at least a 1/2 dozen times it's been discussed on THIS site alone.

There is no feature that allows that. You can configure multiple IMAP accounts in Outlook and do it on a per message basis, but that's clumsy.

You can configure separate email accounts and add the mailboxes in Outlook, granting SEND AS rights. But again, that's not the most convenient.
