multiple files upload

I have searched forever for a way to upload multiple files using this tag:
<INPUT NAME=&quot;fileName&quot; TYPE=file SIZE=20>

I dont want to use multiple tags or some kind of java applet.

Something similar to adding &quot;multiple&quot; to a select form tag:
<select name=&quot;srthsrth&quot; multiple>

I cant believe there is no way to do this!!

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

that really $uck$! I cant believe that limitation!
In RFC 1867 section &quot;3.4 Interpretation of other attributes&quot; they even talk about selecting multiple files within one tag (

Section 3.4 of The RFC 1867 uses the word &quot;might&quot; a lot. When the file upload idea was put in to practice as a part of the HTML spec, W3.org wisely dropped the advice in section 3.4. Neither of those suggestions was a good idea.

Use multiple inputs.
