I've read through all the threads. And I have 2 questions re: multiple email account issues in Outlook. These appear to be common issues -- but I didn't see an answer. So, at the risk of being redundant....

Q1) I have several email accounts with the same ISP. When I send an email -- all emails come "from" the first user. It reads "From user1@comcast.net on behalf of user2@comcast.net". In OE, I was able to select the from user in the email. I have added the "from" field to my email and typed the correct user -- but it still shows up "on behalf of". Any idea how to fix this?

Q2) I also get the Network Password Prompt every 5 min -- one for each account. Very annoying.

Any help would be appreciated!!

Thanks,
Rachel

A1. When you create a new e-mail, there should be a button at the top toolbar called "Send using" or "Account" or something like that... I switch to 2003 recently and can't remember exactly how 2002 works. Anyhow, the point is in the e-mail creation screen there's a button for choosing the account.

A2. This is common with Comcast (my ISP also). I'd imagine something to do with creating so many connetions to their POP server in a short space of time. It seems to get bad for a few days, then will go away. Make sure the "save" box is checkmarked when you click Okay.

Thank you! The "accounts" button worked. Seems so simply now!! Appreciate the info on Comcast. You are right, sometimes it is bad, but other times I don't see it all day.

Thanks! Appreciate the great advise!
