My original domain in Exchange is @company.com, I have configured an additional domain name in Exchange / Routing to be @company-finance.com and set it to be inbound.
Although it took me a while I had everything configured so 3 of my users could have pop access using this second domain name. I achieved this by changing the following under Routing/Routing Restrictions;
Checking the Hosts and clients connecting to these internal addresses option and adding the internal / private address of my mail server.
This worked fine until a few days ago when I noticed that we were being used as a relay, but as soon as I unchecked this option, users can recieve but not send mail.
The users are not connecting from within my network and do not have static IP addresses. The error they get when using Outlook Express is;
'550 Relaying is prohibited', Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 550, Error Number: 0x800CCC79
Can anyone help me with this?
Sorry it's so lengthy, just wanted to make sure I had it all in.
Thanx
Gary
