I have setup my exchange server to send and recieve email for 2 domain. Domain is fine domain I can only recieve but when I send it the other side recieves the email address as user@abc.com. How can I setup my exchange so I can send out email for the second domain.

Make sure that the users who need to send their mail from xyz.com have their <user>@xyz.com emailed address set their primary in AD.

When I try to input the user for Xyz.com in AD. I only get the choice of one domain which is abc.com. How can I add another domain name. I can recieve the email fine for xyz.com.

Thanks

In your AD Users and Computers, find an appropriate user who you want to have the primary email address of <user>@xyz.com - Then from the users properties click the Email Addresses tab - if you have set up the receipiant policy in exchange correctly you should notice that there is an entry in the email addresses for <username>@xyz.com. If not, it matters not, click Add and add a new SMTP email address <user>@xyz.com. Once you have this email address in the list - click Set To Primary. Now when that user sends mail, this will be the address it comes here.

Im taking a guess from your last post that you are probably looking at the wrong place for this, and are getting confused between Local Domain name and Email Domain, is your local domain also called abc.com?????

If you don't see the second address in your account after updating your recipient policy, you need to resolve that problem first - don't manually add an email address to an account if the recipients policy isn't working correctly.
