I have a cutomer with a BCM 400. They are renting out office space and sharing their BCM. They have a PRI and the other company is porting their main line over to the PRI.
Along with taking a block of 10 DID's.
What i am going to do is create a hunt group for company 2. In that group will be the 10 extensions and the target line wich will be their main number. And the group will appear and ring on all the 10 sets along with 2 intercom keys. Is this the best way or should i just have target appr & ring on sets? What im not sure about is if their main number assigned to target line 300. What happens if i get a call on 300. It rings in on the hunt group key. What happens to the second call on 300? Will it ring the remaining sets or is it busy? Once its answered is it on one of their intercom keys? After 8 rings i will have call pilot answer line 300. Just wanting to make sure they can receive more then one call at a time using the hunt group. Also through the telco what happens to the 2nd call will they get a carrier busy tone?

Last thing is outgoing caller id. I cannot get sets to display different caller id info. In programming displayed number. Do i key in just 10 digits or do i need dashes or does it even matter.
Thank you for any info on any problems i might run into

You can have multiple cies on your bcm. What version is it?If it's 4.0 you can go up to 99 cies(tables).
You can have your hunt group appear&ring on all 10 sets specially if your sets are answering more then one cie,so they can differentiate the incoming call. You can set the huntgroup as "distribute"so all sets will ring at the same time and an user busy on the phone will not get the ringing of the next call(unless called direct thru intercom).
For all sets belonging to the same cie, assign the did number(main cie number) in Public OLI of all those sets.

Thanks for the reply. Yes it is version 4.0. So sounds like hunt group is what i am going to do. I have tried putting in different Public OLI's and the info always comes up as company 1's main number. Is it possible telco is not passing info from my switch? Do i include dashes in my Public OLI
