Hey guys i have my regular network connection in all of my servers as well as a second nic card with a seperate IP Subnet range and gateway and on a different switch and it is all gigabit. The reason i am multihoming is so the network wont get bogged down from the data transfer.
Anyway all of the servers operate 100% fine and the backups are flawless. I only have one problem. The domain controller runs
DNS also and everytime i activate the second Nic card i loose internet connection through that DNS server.
What can i do to eliminate this. I dont understand what the problem is that is causing this. I assume there is some sort of conflict between the two networks i am running and the DNS.
Anyway i have the NIC card disabled but i cant back up the DC which is a very important backup.
Thanks for your help in advance
Also just for arguments sake.
The main network is a class A subnet and the secondary network is a class C subnet
