Multicasting with Ghost Enterprise version 6.0

Cisco 6200 series

When multicasting using Ghost Enteprise version 6.0, the router cpu is 42% and load network traffic.
Even with the IGMP protocol, the network traffice is double the amount.
The sysadmin has tried Symantec's suggestions for this:

any other suggestions?

put 'ip mroute-cache'

on the interfaces. this enables fast switching for multicast traffic

would it matter if the ports on the switches are dynamic?
