I have a basic MS Access 2003 database, I have set up multi-user and access control.
It is a Hotline call logging tool and up to 3 users need to be able to log new calls at the same time.
Previously I have been advised to use a numeric incrementing field to create a new call reference number, each record also has a unique automatically generated reference.
If 2 people enter the form at the same time they both get the same call number and obviously only one of them can save it.
Can anyone suggest a solution? / advice? (I need to get this working tomorrow)
