Multi-select list box scroll problem

I am using an extended select list box. With the list box I use drop down fields as shortcuts to select specific records in the list box. The drop down fields work well and will automatically select records in the list box, however the list box will not scroll down to them automatically so it is difficult to see whether they have been selected or not.

I know the scroll down feature works with a single-select list box. Does anyone know if there is a way to scroll using code in a multi-select list box?
